Of Aesthetic Skincare & Pampering at The Wedding Clinic

There are weeks when work drives me absolutely crazy and the first indication of all the stress is usually evident on my skin! It's during phases like these that I scold myself for not eating healthy and sleeping well...Or for not making regular trips to a spa. (For which my go-to excuse is the lack of time)

I'm 26 years old and the one major realization over the past few months has been that my skin needs attention. I may be blessed with clear skin in general, but that doesn't entirely rule out the need for extra TLC with passing time. So, the launch of The Wedding Clinic, a multispecialty advance aesthetic clinic in Pune and an invite to experience their extraordinary services came as an absolute blessing. TWC offers unparalleled beauty services that encompass skin and hair as well as nail care. As the name suggests, the place prides in being an exclusive one-stop for brides & grooms...One that plays an integral part in a woman's journey during the few crucial months before her big day.

Started by Payal Tekchandani Sheth, Kalp Sheth and Dr. Shaili Sangvi, TWC is a beautifully done-up space, located in Koregaon Park. Speaking of my experience, the first thing to strike me were the tasteful interiors in teal, white and gold. They definitely have an instant calming effect, that puts you into a relaxed frame of mind...After having gone through the various services available, I had a one-on-one interactive session with Dr. Sangvi who took the time to understand my medical history and my skin-related concerns.

She suggested a hydrafacial for me, which they beautifully describe as a tastefully crafted drink for the skin. What followed next was a long and soothing pamper session during which water was literally given back to my dry skin.  This exclusive 6-step hydrafacial is all about rejuvenating the skin to its very best! My skin was infused with water, essential nutrients and handpicked serums from across the globe...Felt just as luxurious as it sounds.

What I truly loved about my experience at TWC, of course in addition to the glowing baby-soft skin at the end, was the attention to detail and overall vibe of the place. Whether it was serving deliciously healthy beverages & snacks to munch on or the courtesy of the staff, it made me feel so special and relaxed. And of course, a special mention to the extremely warm owners, with whom I had a super fun and interactive conversation as we discussed wedding woes (one of the reasons why TWC came into existence), the crazy weather in Pune and just so much more.

A special occasion or just a lazy afternoon that calls for some pampering, The Wedding Clinic is a blissful experience...

Until the next post, love - M!
